Does it feel like the anger control you instead of you controlling your anger?

Everyone gets angry from time to time. At what point does it because a problem? When it begins to impact your work life, your relationships, and/or the overall quality of your life. Some people become angry at a person or at an event, other people just feel angry in general. In either case, over time, it begins to erode a person’s quality of life and their physical health. Anger increases a person’s blood pressure, heart rate, and adrenaline. Over time, this creates changes in a person’s overall health.  Unexpressed anger may be turned inwards, which typically results in feelings of depression.  Many people spend a great deal of time and energy feeling angry, giving up time that could be spent enjoying life. I have helped many people learn how to diminish their feelings of anger, repair their relationships, be more productive at work, and for some, have peace in their life for the first time ever.
