Depression can take many forms. For some, it is a pervasive feeling of sadness, a sense that they are never going to feel better. For others, it’s being unable to enjoy things like they used to. It may come out as irritability in others.  There is often difficulty with concentration, memory, and motivation. Most feel like they have less energy and have sleep issues, whether it’s falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up too early.  At its worst, depression takes away a person’s will to live. Therapy can help manage, decrease, and even eliminate the symptoms of depression.
